I recently had the opportunity to try Health-full bread from Oroweat/Arnold and I will say I was quite impressed.
I had wanted to try the 10grain or heartywheat but since it was on sale at my local Frys, all that was left was the nuttygrain. I was disappointed at first because I have never been a big “nutty” bread fan. BF didn’t mind. He is not nearly as picky about food as I am. We picked up our nuttygrain and went on our merry way.
Typically I take a sandwich for my work lunches so I made my sandwich that night with my new nuttygrain bread still slightly disappointed in it being nutty. The next day at work I found out how wrong I was. This bread was delicious!
The bread is soft and yes, there are nuts but it is not overwhelming like some breads. (My parents would sometimes by nutty breads and I was forced to eat them as a child.) I am a huge fan of soft breads. We keep our bread in the fridge and even being in the cold, the bread remained soft over time.
My only complaint is the crust. I am not a huge crust eater. As a child I would not eat any kind of crusts, bread or pizza. As I’ve gotten older I have started eating crusts but sometimes if it is too much, I won’t eat it (usually on pizzas). This crust got a little thick. I ate it but to me it seemed more dry than the bread part.
I have told a few friends about this bread. It is tasty and has less calories per slice than other healthy breads. There is only 80 calories per slice. Typically whole wheat bread I eat is 100-110 calories. It’s always nice to save a little on calories!

*Full disclosure: I belong to BzzAgent and was given a coupon to try this bread for free with the intention that I will give my honest opinion about said product. Trust me, I have let them know good and bad about the products i have tried. I will tell a company when I think their product sucks.
