Planning and long runs have always helped balance the chaos inside my head! At any time, my brain has about 50 billion tabs open and the only way to close a few is to go for a run & plan. I'm surprised how long it took me to realize there is an entire planning community! I always thought I was the lone weirdo paging through planner after planner in Target searching for the perfect unicorn planner.
I can set goals but I struggle with follow-through. I can get caught up in the planning part and never move to the doing. Planning is more than just a running to-do list (although it can include that). Planning is determining what you want out of life, figuring out how to achieve it, and most importantly having enough coffee to DO ALL THE THINGS!
First, we run (to clear our minds) then we plan, and finally, we achieve.
